Finally arrived in Le Paz after a journey from the UK via the chaos of Miami airport. I had heard it was bad but it was a good job there was a 6 hour transfer window, as we used a good couple to move 500m from one gate to another.
As we gather pace during the week there will be updates, but these will largely depend on access to any signals, wifi etc.
We will spend the day in Le Paz tomorrow meeting the National Office of Worldvision to learn about the country its needs and the programmes we run.

The country still has vast inequalities in income and clearly there is still great poverty – but generally a left leaning indigenous President is taking on tackling the severe levels of poverty in the country.
