What a fantastic day to be able to share Sarah’s birthday 🎂 with a few friends in the garden. Like many we’ve missed a few key birthdays and weddings. So whilst it was a small Covid gathering it was very special to see friends and family in the flesh for the first time in over a year!

So after 20 odd years of living between Loughborogh and London on and off for work we hopefully have packed up and left at last. We’ve enjoyed many happy memories in Westminster of course but I’m in a new season in life and don’t need to be here as much. Lovely wander round the corner to the Thames for our picnic lunch!

Bank Holiday at home.. pottering around the garden and a walk over to Woodhouse in the late 🌞- at last.

Second jab complete- fantastic service again from volunteers and staff. The queue for the BM Store next door was longer! Thanks NHS

A lovely #walkingmeeting with @david.monkhouse.7 today in @bradgate_park_trust ... I find it more productive, healthy and inspiring with our local nature. The Blue Police box is of course a key feature!

Treat time after wandering around York for the day... a chocolate orange Crepe!! Or Biscoff for @emilyreed.x 😍
