Absolutely right – too many people watch the headline statistical figures from London and expect this to translate into that magical ‘feelgood factor’. We made that mistake. Same true with Public spending. You can announce Billions for this service or millions for a new scheme but implementation can often be far from ideal and nobody thanks you for it anyway! Its the effect of the Westminster bubble and the playing of politics as if the world is the West Wing!
